St. Catharines GM Powertrain Auto Show

 Join Director “DataDan” and Canadian Registry Member Gary Bishop for this exciting GM Powertrain Auto Show held at the Glendale Plant where they build our Corvette engine as well as other racing engines. There will be Plant Tours and a special limited tour of the Dyno Lab. The Show and Shine is open to all GM powered vehicles. There will be a club participation award, as well as vendors, promotions and a BBQ. There is no charge for registration. This is a one-day event, rain or shine. The Registry returns to Corvettes at Carlisle for the 10th year on the Hill! Members, you will want to register your Corvette for the Corvettes at Carlisle Fun Display so you can park your C5 or C6 on the Registry Hill and fellowship with members and partake of the ice cold refreshments at the Registry tent! To do this you can register online at www.CarlisleEvents.com or call them at 717-243-7855 and tell them you want to register for the Fun Display and park on the Official C5/C6 Registry Hill. Registration for all activities will be available at the event, but all registration fees will increase $10 after August 4, 2008. OFFICIAL C5/C6 REGISTRY HOST HOTEL 

Our host hotel is the Comfort Suites at 10 S. Hanover Street, Carlisle, PA 17013 (800-704-1188). There is usually a waiting list, so we suggest you call Pennsylvania Hotel/Motel at 877-727-8573 ASAP and they will help arrange accommodations for you.

OFFICIAL C5/C6 REGISTRY MEMBER DINNER 

The Registry will host a dinner on Friday, August 22^nd at the Comfort Suites. Our guest speaker will be Paul Graham, Bowling Green’s new Corvette Plant Manager. There will be other Bowling Green Corvette Plant representatives and GM Corvette Brand representatives present for you to visit with while dining. Where else can you gather so much Corvette knowledge and have this much FUN than at a Registry dinner!

 

The Callaway Owners Group will also be joining the Registry for dinner this year.

 

Cocktails (cash bar) begin at 6:00 p.m. with dinner served at 6:30 p.m. Your dinner choice is Filet Mignon with Port Wine Demi Glace or Stuffed Chicken Breast Saltimbocca (skinless chicken breast stuffed with mozzarella cheese and prosciutto ham) and the cost is $40 per person paid in advance. The room accommodates 150 people, so be sure and make your reservations early!

NCM Anniversary Labor Day Celebration

Mid America Motorworks Corvette Funfest

Make plans to join the Registry at the 15th Annual Corvette Funfest 2008! This event will celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Corvette Challenge Racing Series with a special reunion of all Corvette Challenge Cars. There will also be a special row of parking for 58’s, 68’s, 78’s, 88’s, 98’s and 08’s, along with ’78 Pace Cars and 35^th Anniversary Corvettes.
